Northern Burlington's 2021 Musical

We have had the pleasure of renting equipment and designing lighting for Northern Burlington Regional High School’s Theatre Department since 2016. In 2021, NBCR Theatre returns from pandemic-hiatus with a musical production of “The Addams Family!”

We added to the school’s own LED ellipsoidal fixture plot by supplying eight DFX VersaBar 40’s for rear curtain lighting and three Solaframe 750’s for spot and effect lighting. We also provided Shure WL93 elements to supplement their own inventory of wireless microphones. One of our own techs programmed lighting for the show during a night of rehearsals.

Audubon High School Musical

Audubon High School's 2021 Musical

Audubon High School’s theater program can’t be stopped. Ongoing pandemic measures meant that typically large cast & crew needed to be reduced, and live performances were still not a possibility. 

Instead of throwing in the towel, their director took an innovative approach: pick a smaller show (High School Musical), film a few performances, and present a virtual production. This allowed for them to mitigate risks and reach the widest audience possible.

A six week production timeline and reduced budget compared to previous years meant providing an effective lighting design would be a challenge. We assisted their program by adding eighteen DFX VersaPar lighting fixtures to their stage plot, patched into their classic ETC Express 24/48 console.

Other house lighting fixtures were in good condition and only required minor focus adjustments. We also educated students on how to operate the lighting console, allowing them to have control of lights during the filming process.

Our Town Alley – East Norriton, PA

Our Town Alley - East Norriton, PA

Formerly known as Facenda Whitaker Lanes, Our Town Alley has spent the last few years updating its offerings, including one of the most immersive lighting systems you’ll ever see!

The cap lighting, VersaLamps and projection system for this project was sold and installed by Bowlers’ Supply and ZOT Colorsplash. We provided pin deck lighting and programming for the entire lighting system.

When combined, our Versa fixtures become the only system on the market that provides continuous effects over all three levels (caps, pin decks and overhead lighting). This means  effects can be programmed to sync up, further enhancing guest experience.

4D Fun Center – Frederick, MD

4D Fun Center- Frederick, MD

Frederick’s first FEC experience features over 35,000 square feet of entertainment.

Fourth Dimension Fun Center is a fresh, ground-up build finished in December of 2020. Guests can enjoy 16 bowling lanes, a multi-level laser tag arena, customizable escape rooms, a full arcade space, a motion theater, a laser escape room, and many more activities.

We provided our deluxe Dual-UV VersaLamps and projected numbers over their bowling lanes. The lanes featured two huge 8-lane projection screens and eight bright laser projectors. VersaLamps were also used to illuminate laser tag areas, and can quickly be switched between white and UV light when servicing the space.

We also installed countless LCD displays throughout the building, as well as Axis Controls CCTV systems for security and surveillance. JBL Professional speakers were installed and tuned through the facility, and Crestron touchscreen controls were integrated for ease of use by staff.

Our datacom package included running cables for other trades, too. We placed network lines to manage gaming gard systems, POS devices, etc. while we ran our own cabling to help streamline Fourth Dimension’s overall project.

The lighting in all areas features custom programming easily controlled from touch screens, while the laser tag lighting system is tied in with game controls for interactive special effects! We also supplied thick black drapery to divide the main bowling area from the private VIP lanes.
