Winslow Township Middle & High School Graduations
DFX provided all of the audio equipment and services for the Winslow Township middle and high school graduations in 2012.
The middle school graduation was held in the gym, while the high school graduation was held on the football field outside.
For the high school graduation, we provided a full sound system to broadcast the ceremony to both the audience and the graduates. The system included 8 JBL and 4 Mackie speakers, plus microphones for the podium and the choir. Our audio engineer and an assistant ran the sound during the ceremony. The middle school graduation included 6 JBL speakers and microphones for the podium, plus an audio engineer to run the sound during the ceremony.

The Dance Connection 2012 Recital
DFX has worked with TDC for years, but when Roseann Pirollo, the original owner, announced that she was going to hang up her dance shoes for good, we knew this year’s recital had to be a very special send off.
Current owners Jen and Lori have always understood the impact that lighting can have on dance, so DFX worked with TDC to put together a lighting package to take their recital to the next level. Working within a tight budget and an even tighter rehearsal schedule, DFX put together a large moving light rig, which was designed and programmed by our rental manager Mike Simpson. The primary focus of the show was the large company number at the end of the first act, Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO. This upbeat number provided a great opportunity to use some very impressive lighting effects. With a little help from DFX, the TDC dancers blew the doors off, ending the number to thunderous applause and creating a proper send off for Roseann.

Halloween VIP Party
When October rolls around, DFX receives regular inquiries regarding special effects available for Halloween festivities.
This specific client needed effects for a VIP party at his home that would include live actors, side shows, magic acts, and an acres worth of special effects. The challenge was to create a truly unique feel with various modes of lighting and special effects that would compliment his horror theme.
DFX fully lit the entire area from the front lawn to the tree tops. In addition, colored lighting was brought in to illuminate a special side show tent in the back yard.
The client was especially interested in the creation of a low lying fog that gave the effect of rolling across the property lawn and arrival area for the party. To accomplish that goal, DFX supplied two large fog machines that used over 750 lbs of liquid CO2.
