DFX has wrapped up their work at Rock n Air in East Brunswick, NJ. Here, we designed our very own Versa lighting, audio and video systems throughout this 70,000 square foot indoor adventure park. Integrated with our custom automation control system, all 3 systems are easily controlled via touch panels conveniently located in the check in area, lounge and café. Other services we provided here were data/comm and CCTV, providing the owner the benefit of dealing with 1 contractor for multiple trades. 

DFX is happy to announce the newest additions to our Installation Department in Alex Dossantos and Robert Smith.

Robert has had previous experiences in the AV home and retail world through at Worldwide stereo and Home theater installation. Some of Roberts go-to movies in his free time include Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Purple Rain. Robert most looks forward to getting more experience in the commercial world rather than retail and receiving more production and networking experience.

Alex has previous work as a Freelance master electrician programmer in the Philadelphia area and looks forward to becoming more familiar with the theatrical, concert, installation of servers and networking sides of the entertainment industry. Some go to movies for Alex include the Shawshank Redemption for serious nights and Cloudy with a chance of meatballs for when he wants a good laugh. Welcome to the team Alex and Robert!

During the month of February, DFX was called upon by Mastery High school in Camden New Jersey to upgrade analog sound consoles to digital sound consoles. The transition to a Presonus Studio Live S32X console and a stage box to house more inputs allows a higher ease of use for storing presets and having control of the system from a remote set up. 

Here is a look at DFX’s most recent production for Washington Township High School Choir’s “Pop Experience 2022: Reflections”. The show premiered on Thursday February 10th and showcased a lighting and musical spectacle for members of the community.

During the month of February, DFX finished up their AV upgrades for the Atlantic Country Prosecutors Office. DFX helped supply and install new screens and projectors, AV rack, TV screen and implemented an AV touch panel to give ease of use for the lighting and audio systems.
